After forty weeks PLUS five days we had a big baby girl.Finley Rebecca Taylor was born Tuesday, September 6th, at 4:35 in the afternoon. We had been scheduled to go in Sunday night and be induced, but the hospital was full and we had to sit and wait until they had room. I was a bit nervous not having been induced before but was more than ready to not be pregnant and just wanted to have her. They called us Tuesday morning and by the time we packed got Camryn to my mom's it was 11 or so. They broke my water at 1pm and she was here by 4:30, all 8lbs 15oz!!! Big girl, but so worth the pain and pressure I felt this time due to a failed epidural on my entire left side!!
The kids came to visit that night and sis was excited to hold her but T wasn't. It has been six days now and he has yet to hold her. Told me he doesn't like small things. Okay, not going to push the subject. He is making progress though. At first he wouldn't even be in the same room as her, but now he will sit right next to us as we hold her.

Haha reading about Talan makes me laugh. He already sounds like a guy! Funny he wouldn't be in the same room as her; I won't be surprised if Hallie is the same way!

So excited that Finley has finally arrived and can't wait to see her and all of your family this next week. Hopefully Talan will be feeling more comfortable around his baby sister by then, ha ha!
